Same for me, artefacts survive session restart. Sometimes e.g.
openoffice is not usable until reboot if a black box artefact appears at
a center position.

Thought this might've been fixed as I hadn't seen it for a while, but it
is still broken as shown in the attached photo of Konsole's background
after watching a video in Firefox and closing the tab.

I am also seeing this with Kubuntu 10.10, KDE 4.5.5, Flash 10.2 and nvidia
drivers 173.14.28-0ubuntu1
I don't play many Flash games, but I get this after watching videos on sites
such as YouTube. Even after closing down Firefox I can see the last frame of
