Hi guys,
I don't think this is an nvidia bug.
I am using the ati xorg driver, radeon 9200 and I am seeing the same
thing.
xterm, gnome-terminal or even gedit dying and taking Xwindow with them
unexpectedly

gnome-terminal does not start when using xinerama and nvidia

Yes, I did. In tests I discovered that the gnome-terminal only break
when Xinerama is active. Using Twinview or multiple x-session,
gnome-terminal don't broke.
