OK, I'll try it.
But you not that, update-manager will not start downloading packages, if we
are not giving privileges.
If we started update-manager without access privileges, it asks for access
privileges.

Progress bar in top is right (not all the item is downloaded, 2 files
related to openoffice is downloaded). But in the details window,
openoffice.org-common (Downloaded 20.9 MB of 18.5 MB), that's the error.

Yes.
Each item shows invalid downloaded size. If an item completed downloading,
it shows correct size.
