OK, I tried this on natty, whatever the latest alpha is. sensors
reported
radeon-pci-0100
Adapter: PCI adapter
temp1: +59.0°C
Although it's hard to be sure, that looks like my GPU temp sensor,
especially since sensors doesn't show that sensor in maverick

I'm not sure I understand. sensors-applet has the ability to read the
GPU temperature; when I build it from source and run it, it does that.
The problem in the package for Maverick is just that libaticonfig.so is
missing. When I build that file from source and drop it into the
existing package, i
This is not a bug in sensors-applet, since it only reports the sensors
that the kernel detects. Support for reading the temperature has
recently been added to the kernel. Can you please test Natty and see if
it shows up there?
