I have the same problem in ubuntu feisty with brasero 0.5.2 from the repo. This
is the error log:
I have enought space both in /home partition and in root partition.
PS. It worked in edgy!!!

I am using Brasero 0.50.0-0ubuntu1- edgy1 and when i insert a blanck cd, the
aplication show me "insert another cd/dvd because this in no enougth" and when
i try burn with nautilus cd-burner this aplication when finish burn cd show me
an alert like this " error burninng cd . Try another spee
