I think it would be too complicated for indicator-sound to implement
something complete for this, and at the same time to keep a sane/simple
ui.

In my case, this feature would solve a far more mundane problem--I often
use Skype for chatting, with a USB webcam's microphone for audio.
However, being a hotpluggable device, the camera occasionally gets
deselected in the Input tab.
If this happens while Skype is running (or if by chance i'm not

To send Skype to my VOIP phone and to send Totem to my speakers, I have

Thanks for the suggestion. It is a reasonable idea to be able to play
sound from different applications on different sets of speakers. For
example, playing music on a home sound system while playing everything
else in the PC speakers.
