Confirming since I'm seeing the bug exactly as described on edgy w/ KDE
3.5.5.
Tabs opened using the "open new tab"-button located left of the first tab on
the file view, which opens a blank new tab, do not exhibit this strange
behaviour; only the ones opened via right-clicking in the tree view
