Same here, also on amd64. The error message (using Gutsy):
/usr/lib/geomview/gvx: Symbol `_XmStrings' has different size in shared object,
consider re-linking
InstCreate: Undefined option: [some number]
Geomview: internal error: Segmentation violation; dump core now (y/n) [n] ?
Workaround: grab
Also crashes for me every time on amd64. The number after "Undefined
option:" varies.
