To resume from a hibernated image, the "/etc/initramfs- tools/conf.d/resume" file has to be filled with the information of the swap device also (which is a separate problem on a dapper->edgy upgrade) as mentioned in 66637. Please try it also and let us know whether it works. There is also "resume"

Hu... no, not a repeat of bug 66637. For the Vaio, the fix from bug 66637 works fine and the Vaio works and hibernates fine (but there is an issue with graphics at boot time and in a transparent panel -- new problem in Edgy). For the AJP 3000M the fix solves the problem with swap, that now wo

Hummm... this looks very like the bug 66637 problem so yes it looks like it might be a variant. The only problem is in trying to follow the instructions in that thread, 'fdisk -l' returns nothing for me, even for a system with a swap device currently working. I will move to using that thread to p
