It's really a shame. I considered this to be a very useful feature and
was very upset when it was removed. It's funny how this feature was
actually created by accident and then was "bug fixed" out of Ubuntu.

This relates to Bug #1, as this is also the default Windows behaviour.
In that way introduction of this bug is an issue of reverting the the
unevolved state.
