get a crash with pidgin in a later version of Ubuntu.

Thank you everybody for your bug interest. The new crashes have nothing
to do with the bugs you are commenting on though, could you open a new
bug if you don't know what you are doing? Commenting on random bug
creates confusion and extra work. Could also not attach a new crash when
a comment states

Similar issue here. When I close a chat window, occasionally the window
goes blank white with the exception of the title bar. Pressing X to get
rid of the window crashes gaim. This seems to happen more frequently
when I switch from a custom away message to "available" status.
