Hi,
I had no problem booting natty-alternate-i386.iso from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily/current/
I also tried the upstream kernel (2.6.36-020636rc7-generic) at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds and I could not reproduce
the bug.

Hi,
apparently this has been fixed in the new kernel:

I downloaded this kernel and it is the first time I have been able to
complete my md5sum job. So this kernel solves that problem,
unfortunately, my wireless doesn't work
