I am using Kubuntu Gutsy from some time and I had no problem with the Firefox
fonts, until I installed ubuntu-desktop. Now Firefox fonts are huge, but no
other application seems to be affected. I uninstalled ubuntu-desktop and most
of its dependencies, I also uninstalled and reinstalled firefox,
i have the same problem.. Firefox fonts look bold and ugly after upgrade
from Dapper to Edgy and Feisty.

Yes, I can still see the problem, and on all themes I've tried.
The content fonts look normal compared to the same pages in Epiphany,
though it's possible I changed the Firefox font settings at the time I
reported this bug.
I'm attaching a screenshot that shows the difference in interface font

Thank you for the bug report, is this still an issue now? Does it also
occur across other gnome themes? (IndustrialTango, Mist etc..)
Thanks again, Alex.
