Yes, I was trying to extract to a FAT :(
However, I think that we should turn on automatically the "strip special
chars" function when Sound Juicer tries to copy files to such
filesystems. The user could be warned by a popup, for example.

Do you try to extract on a FAT filesystem ?
If it's the case, this problem is due to the fact that FAT fs can't handle some
special character like ? : < "
