Okay so it seems the problem doesn't exist anymore and no output at all
suggests that its not a unity bug so marking as invalid

Hi, looks like it's fixed already. I got the same problem in a friend's
computer, maybe the problem was my USB disk. Anyway, I was getting no output
at all. My LCD screen would turn off and start blinking its power indicator
(as it does when the VGA cable is disconnected). Thanks!

Just tested with the lastest build and the issue is still there. If you
guys would like any additional information, I´d gladly try to provide
it...
