Looks like this is no problem in Intrepid. A warning message will appear
before sticky keys is first activated. The feature can be disabled in
that message, or in System Settings --> Accessibility --> Modifier Keys.

Its the "slow keys" feature of KDE, also reported in Bug #41427. Get rid

occasionally crashes and prevents keyboard input for me.

I can confirm this, saw this in 2 different PCs. Keyboard just stops
working, I have no idea why, but deleting ~/.kde solves the problem. Is
there any config file I might upload for you devs to see what's the
problem?
