The exception is normal and perfectly harmless. They are part of a migration
process for people who were using the 0.x series :
On first startup, we check if some files exists, in order to migrate them to
the database. If they don't, that means there's nothing to migrate. The
exception is logged
this issue looks like a duplicate of bug

Hi Kamus,
Just to be clear:
1) Although the Exception pops up on the console, banshee appears to start
normally. I reported this Exception in case there might be something worth
checking.
2) The is no $HOME/.config/banshee directory, but the is a directory called
$HOME/.config/banshee-1
3) Mov
Please can you try to remove or backup your "~/.config/banshee" to
another place and then check if banshee starts? Thanks
