I agree it definitely meets the requirements for a stable release
update; this is mainly blocked on somebody with time to prepare such a
SRU.

Title
This bug renders the package in Ubuntu Natty (0.8.6+bzr147-1) completely
unusable for me, and breaks integration with Eclipse.
I think this meets the criteria for a stable release update.
