I note this happened to me today on a freshly installed Ubuntu Feisty
Fawn (7.04) using their standard wine package and downloaded copy of PAF
5.2. Installed from terminal (sudo wine PAF5EnglishSetup.exe). The
default font is unreadable. The workaround (sudo apt-get remove ttf-
tamil-fonts) allows
I've a font's problem with the latest version of Wine (0.9.41) under

re-install ttf-tamil-fonts, it seems that PAF continues to use the
correct fonts afterwards.
It would be interesting to try to find the defaults button in PAF while
Is this still an issue in recent Wine's?
Yes, I just installed Feisty less than a month ago, and installed PAF
today, and got the same error. Removing the package ttf-tamil-fonts
caused an acceptable font to be used.
I used the wine from the repository.
