OK, problem solved!
Thanks to http://souriguha.wordpress.com/2011/03/08/how-to-solve-
problem-with-thinkpadkslowd-kworker-on-linux-kernel-2-35-2-36/ I found a
solution. Too bad it's after I converted to Arch Linux.
Here are two variants of the solution in short, based on affect:

OK, I upgraded to 3310 and though it's a bit better, it is still choppy without
the power cord.

OK, I wouldn't want to jinx it but I've been using live version of 10.04.4 for
four hours now, did several suspend-to-ram and mouse was smooth all the time!
I also did not see any kworker processes running, which are present in newer
releases. I noticed them to spike CPU usage and change priorit

yes, I can replicate this issue with touchpad and every mouse.
First release I installed on that laptop was 10.10, now I use 11.04 and
tried 12.10 for testing. The problem was present in every named release.
Do I have to install that obsolete release?
