I tried to reproduce this problem but running winff from gnome-terminal
and converting an AVI to a DVD preset does NOT result in a crash on my
machine.
You could help by explaining in more detail exactly what you do to get
the crash. I.e. how you start winff, what buttons you pr

some oom.
