Public bug reported: Binary package hint: apt
/etc/cron.daily/apt segfaults. I added an "ulimit -c unlimited" at the beginning to get a core dump, but the gdb output does not look very illuminating: (gdb) core apt-core [New Thread 13583] Core was generated by `/usr/bin/python /usr/bin/unattended-upgrade'. Program terminated with signal 11, Segmentation fault. #0 0x00498770 in ?? () (gdb) backtrace #0 0x00498770 in ?? () #1 0x001b545c in ?? () #2 0x080a22ec in ?? () #3 0x00000000 in ??
