Hi Adam! Thanks for your bug report. I have managed to track this down
(hopefully correctly) to the medibuntu repository. They provide an app-
install-data-medibuntu package which includes a desktop file for Google
Earth. Presumably you have installed this package at some time in the
past. This is

Could you please attach the various /etc/apt/sources.list.d files you
have there ? I can not reproduce it on a stock 10.10 install, but the
additional repositories hopefully make the problem reproducable.
