This was fixed a while ago. I'm unable to reproduce this issue and
nobody noticed it during testing of Beta 2. Please reopen if it's still
an issue.

I tried to reproduce this in kvm but couldn't - I see the icon. Could
you attach /var/log/casper.log?

Just to note, I was using a non-3D accelerated graphics system, so I got
by default the "Classic Desktop" and not a "Unity desktop".
