Is it also possible to forece a mirror?
In my network update-manger will find a offical mirror in the internet, but I
want to say that update-manger should use the local mirror in the LAN. Is this
now possible?

This is fixed now. If the upgrader does not find a mirror it knows it
will ask for a "dumb" rewrite from edgy to feisty and that should be
correct in 99% of the cases. Please reopen if that does not suit your
needs.
