Because this bug is now very old and that no answer was provided within
a month, I set the status to invalid but please feel free to re-open it
and comment if you can still reproduce the bug with latest gutsy / hardy

Thanks for this bug report. In order to help that bug getting fixed, can
you try to reproduce it on latest Linux ubuntu gutsy release? Also, can
you provide a photo of your screen when this bug happen? Thanks to

Please note that the problem disappeared when I removed the Ubuntu desktop and
ran only on KDE.
With a clean KDE all is as it should be.
Is there a bug somewhere on Edgy Gnome?

Both values are indeed correct. Reg uses a multisync CRT.
