is there some more activtiy on this?
It's really not understandable that users of this card have to live with a
cutting connection every 20seconds.

I added this workaround:
sudo su root
crontab -e
* * * * * /opt/bin/fix_atheros-AR8152_ethernet.sh >> /tmp/fix_atheros-
ethernet_atl1c-reload-log 2>&1 # reload the Atheros Ethernet driver

cat /opt/bin/fix_atheros
As #8 points out, the driver gets kicked out.
Reloading it re-estabishes connection.
Why can this not be fixed?
