I'm using 10.04 and after playing around I get all the icons
Appearance Preferences > Customize Theme > Icons and select Ubuntu-Mono-Dark

no ! it is not fixed ubuntu 10.04 is LTS 3yrs and that what i am going
to be running . 10.10 is 18 months support . and with the announcement
of unity and wayland being added to 11.04 i want 10.04 . i have tried
unity on my desktop already and don`t like it . wayland is to replace x

i tried all icon themes and they all display the same in software center
. even tried after install of gnome extra icons package . no change .

with gnome the only change i got was in developers and tools i got 8 out
of 16 they all look the same , a box with 2 rulers

games there are no icons , / click graphics only two out of 7 ,/ under
