"BUG: soft lockup detected on CPU#0!", is only a symptom of underlying
problem, that I/we can't figure out without the files I asked before (if
they exist, sometimes /var/log/installer/syslog does not exist, but when
it exist it is the best to figure out problem with installer.

I have just learned that /var/log/installer/syslog is not used anymore
on edgy. But still, without /var/log/syslog, and /var/log/partman, the
bug description is not very usefull.
