As far as I know, the list of supported formats is identical to NWZ-S545,
however according to the official website, NWZ-A818 supports audio mp3, aac,
wmp and wma; video mpeg4, avc(h.264); playlist .pla, .m3u, etc
Standard folders are /MUSIC, /VIDEO.

It works also on Walkman NWZ-A818, though in mass storage mode, not in
mtp like Rhythmbox. It shouldn't be a problem.

Same problem here using a Sony Walkman NWZ A818. The device is recognized
correctly in mtp mode by the system and it works fine with Rhythmbox, but
simply doesn't appear in Banshee 2.2 from Ubuntu 11.10 (and previous versions
of course).
