Imho, "search for files and folders" in unity should be the same as the
"search for files" GUI in current GNOME (which searches all files in
your home directory).

It will only show files you interacted with (as they are registered in
zeitgeist). Adding a unity-place-files task so that kamstrup can have a
look at this.
