Closed because kde-guidance doesnt install /tmp. If you find out what
installed that please open a bug on that package. thank you for your bug

seems like the problem was solved by chmod 777 /tmp
(was 755)
O_o'
the question is, when and how was that changed, but that's for a
different story, I suppose.

tried removing kde-guidance, and reinstalling it, to no avail. XServer
keeps crashing, although at least the file ixf86misc seems to have been
installed.
