had a hard crash yesterday with lucid, system was under heavy load running 3
vms, webserver, eclipse, rhytmbox
sound was flickering but kept sounding even when the whole system was
unresponsive, happened day before with mplayer but last 3 seconds of the movie
before crash were in a loop
