Well, I still cannot set cpu scaling in powerdevil, but the cpu does not
run at the highest speed any more. So it's kind of halfway fixed... ;-)

Same thing, It also affects me. I've ended up with the following script
for pm-utils (see attachment), but it would be great to get back cpu
freq/governor option in System Settings.

forgot to mention that "cpufreq" script should be put in
/etc/pm/power.d/ directory and it should have executable permissions.
