Hi Guys,
Why was this declared as 'expired'? I had nothing more to add, and the bug is
still there. Has anybody done any work on this?

Not having much experience in fighting audio, I'm loosing the track of
what's happening... Should I be seeing these dependency issues?
apt-get install pulseaudio/maverick-proposed
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Selected version '1:0.
You just need to reinstall pulseaudio from maverick-proposed, no need to
worry about the kernel.

I can remove and purge the pulseaudio package (done), but not entirely
sure how to apply the 0.9.21-63-gd3efa-dirty version (where do I get it
from?. Do I need to revert the kernel to some earlier version?

In Maverick (using maverick-proposed), you should have:
Server Name: pulseaudio
Server Version: 0.9.21-63-gd3efa-dirty
Please revert any changes you've made to the pulseaudio packages
