Yes, if we claim to show all apps, and we only show a portion, there
needs to be some indication of that together with a means to show the rest.

Just a small comment about usability:
"All apps" has to show all applications - everything else would lead to
confusion at the side of the users.
If for performance reasons the developers decide to show only 100 applications
then this should be reflected by the name.
E.g.
"First 100 apps"

I think that's for performance goal.
You still can type "w" in the search area from "All Applications" and you
should see wireshark normallement :)
I still subscribe and triage so that upstream can state if the limitation of
100 icons on "All apps" is deliberate or not.
