Hello
with this configuration of sources.list everithings will be upgraded to lucid
if instead you want to update to Maverick, just with sudo gedit, change every
lucidwritten with maverick and save it, then run update manager.

Ouch! synaptic is brittle. Hand editing /etc/apt/sources.lst resulted in
a crash for all of the following. I finally had to yank it out so
Package Manager would start.

I tried to "deb http://maverick.canonical.com karmic" under "Software
Sources" in Synaptic Package Manager. Obviously, my Linux skills (or
lack thereof) are a problem. Would you be able to
