This is still a problem in Natty. The effect is exactly the same as in
the screenshot by jezdonline, and I am running Gnome/Mac4Lin. I guess
one could suspect Mac4Lin as a source of the problem, but it makes
Inkscape stand out from innumerable other apps that show no ill effects
of any kind in thi

It looks like the problem only occurs with mac4lin.
