I can confirm that this is fixed in Gutsy (24-06-2007). I just
successfully copied a Kubuntu Feisty ISO image without any hitches.
Therefore I'm assuming this can be set as fix released, if this is wrong
please change it back.
thanks,
Rich

Problem still occurs with an entry in fstab. CD and DVD copy fails every
time - very, very annoying. K3B has started to suck on Kubuntu.

I have the same problem with kubuntu edgy, impossible to copy a dvd/cd .
To do it you have to manually click on the dvd on the desktop with the
right click and tell kde to unmount the disk, then it works, but this
not really user friendly, k3b should be able to somehow force the
unmount.

To whom it may concern,
I run Ubuntu 6.06 LTS. I use K3b copying software. When copying a DVD I
get the error message "Unable to eject media" just before the new blank
DVD disk should be inserted. Therefore, the copy fails.
I booted up with KDE and ran the same job, no problems.
Any suggestions
