Hi Adam Spiers,
Thanks for reporting the bugs. I see that the bug has changed overtime and is
now very different from what you intended to file at beginning. To avoid
confusion, I request you to file another bug that mentions your new issues
right from start against the kernel instead. Meanwhile
Touchpad detection now works correctly since upgrading to 10.10 and was
working perfectly with one of the earlier 10.10 kernels. However since
upgrading to 2.6.35-22-generic, multi-touch scrolling is very erratic,
and will suddenly jump up or down over a large chunk of the document
mid-scrolling.
