My current release is Maverick Meerkat. I continue to have problems with screen freezing, etc. I've had to disable all compiz special effects and the screen saver. By doing so, I have no problems. There is some kind of problem with the above video chipset and compiz/opengl but I don't know what it

It would appear this bug is probably related to Compiz/opengl and the video driver/chipset. I had the exact behavior occur after having turned off the power management and screensaver. I had several programs open and I was switching back and forth several times. When I hit the Display desktop butt
