Testing on a random system with NetworkManager in debug mode; I got just
the details I need:

I'm looking at this right now and trying to reproduce the issue. I'm
totally unable to reproduce it on an installed system, so for now I'll
say it's specific to the live session, I will get this tested on various
systems.
