I can confirm that changes made to the enclosing via the preferences are
not saved after program restart.
In my case the original entry was "totem --enqueue" and I could not via the
preferences menu delete the "--enqueue" flag so that it would not show up after
a program restart.

Hello,
I tried it the way you did and the bug didn't occoured (same version
here). But if you edit an existing entry (Preferences) and add
parameters they will disappear on the next restart of liferea.
