[Bug 65004] Re: Edgy: wacom tools break USB keyboard/mouse

2006-10-11 Thread StevenMcCoy
My fault. The beta ISO ships with 2.6.17-10-generic yet LTSP builds with 2.6.17-10-386 and couldn't find the necessary USB modules. apt-get update the LTSP server, manually select the 386 kernel and things work correctly. Wacom USB works, tablet functionality requires dexconf changes and install

I start from a clean LTSP client and install wacom-tools and no /dev/input/wacom is created, therefore I presume the apt-get of xserver- xorg-input-wacom killed the USB functionality as originally reported. Issue now is Wacom tablet support doesn't work at all. -- Edgy: wacom tools break USB key

** Summary changed: - Edgy: USB keyboard mouse do not function in LTSP client + Edgy: wacom tools break USB keyboard/mouse ** Description changed: PS/2 varients work fine, after a few seconds typing on the keyboard the thin client will completely lock up and require a hard reset. Dapper
