since you are not able to reproduce the issue we can assume this bug
might have got fixed to many updates to the telepathy stack in the past,
thats why I am closing this bug as invalid but feel free to report any
other bugs you may find.

Hi,
you're welcome, I really enjoy using Empathy so making it better is in
my own interest.
I just gave it a go using Emesene and Empathy (using two different msn
accounts). Everything seems to work ok. I was able to exchange messages
back and forth and the status is correctly represented. I do t

ubuntu-10.10 upto-date ? I believe the issue should be fixed with the
updates.
