comment out:
export UBUNTU_MENUPROXY="libappmenu.so"

Please provide a screenshot; I cannot reproduce it locally.
Also, if you've localized your system, try starting Boinc Manager using
"LANG=C boincmgr" from a shell/console. This will use no translations
(which might cause problems here).
Also, please provide a screenshot for audacity.
