the problem, is like this, this is when everything works well:
a) computer plug to the electricity -> gnome loads well -> wifi works
but this is what happens when the computer runs on battery:
b) computer on batt -> gnome stops loading at the wall paper -> wifi seems to

Hi,
Fabio, sorry for taking this long, I have more info, and I think I found
something interesting.
The problem is more related to the use of the battery. If the computer is
running on the battery for some reason will not log into gnome.
I thought the reason was the wireless, because when I use

The problem comes and goes, but I don't know how to reproduce.
Every update seems to break the system again, and only the "reconfigure" code
seems to correct it.
But even with it sometimes it is not fixed, only by connecting the computer to
a LAN cable.

The problem repeats, after installing 10.10 from scratch (the final version).
The net worked from the beginning, no need to install rt3090 anymore.
but after the first update, gnome only loads in the "safe mode".

Can you try to reinstall (don't remove!) network-manager and
network-manager-gnome from synaptic?
Package: network-manager-applet (not installed) -> seems that samething goes
wrong with dpkg.

Well after each upgrade, or at least that is how I feel it goes back to be
"unconfigured".
I have to do the
sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg
then it goes back to working.

I think it has more to do with the net connection. If I dont have a connection,
gnome will not log in.
Any ideas?
