Correction to post #4: Maverick actually has the error when resumed
from suspend on battery and on ac power. It seems to behave the same
way with the corresponding mainline kernel v2.6.35.4-maverick.

I downloaded and installed the mainline kernel v2.6.32.21-lucid and now
I don't see any kernel errors in the log files that they popped up in
before. Is there anything in specific I should look for other than
that?

If you could also please test the latest upstream kernel available that would
be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue.

upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstre
