Hardy Heron 8.04 was recently released. The bug report says 2.6.19 has
the patch. Since hardy has 2.6.22, it would be helpful if you could test
the new release and verify if this is still an issue -

to have a look at it as this seems to fix 9400 laptops to work properly.
