Yes. This is a good idea because this HDD (i mean my second harddrive)
was really in a Fake-RAID set before. But i tought i have deleted
everything. And i dont have a [Fake/Software...]-Raid in my new PC. Is
there anything i can do to clear the HDD definitely under Linux?

fake RAID). The contents of your second hard disk suggest that at one

I'm sorry, the previously-requested information wasn't really useful to
me as a developer. Could you please attach the /var/log/syslog and
/var/log/partman files from the installation attempt? If you're
installing from the desktop CD, you can just extract them from the live
session after the inst

Okay - same Problem with the Maverick Installer.
btw. my SATA Controller:
Intel Corporation 82801JI (ICH10 Family) 4 port SATA IDE Controller #1
Intel Corporation 82801JI (ICH10 Family) 2 port SATA IDE Controller #2
Dont know if the #2 controller is relevant - i just found 4 SATA Ports
(so i thin
